Dragon Valley  (DV)
Area Description
Dragon Valley is one of the harder hunting spots in the game.  There are a variety of monsters here and are home of the Drakes and the Dragon Valley Caves where Antharas resides.

    Spartoi are considered undead monsters. The Spartoi are known as Children of the Dragon Teeth nad are born from one of the many dragon teeth scattered throughout Aden. Similar to skeletons, yet stronger, they will sometimes disappear for several minutes, often blocking dungeon hallways.

    Drakes are powerful creatures capable of killing an inexperienced player. Drakes fly around the Dragon Valley area. Its fire-breathing attack can do 100+ damage.

    There are a total of 4 drakes that spawn in a day/night time period. In one complete lineage day, there would be 8 drakes total. There are two solo drakes and then there are the twins. All the drakes will spawn near entrances to the Dragon Valley Caves. The two solo drakes will spawn anytime within the first hour of daylight or sunset. The twins will spawn any time during the day and any time during the night. The process starts over it becomes daytime and nighttime.
    Drake is considered a Boss. Below is some additional information:

    Spawn Times:

    • Single Drakes: Anytime from the beginning of the nighttime to the middle of the night or the beginning of the daytime to the middle of the day. The drake may spawn anytime within this time period (1 hour in real life).
    • Twin Drakes: Anytime during a day or night period.

    Spawn Locations:

    • The Drakes all spawn at entrances to the Dragon Valley Caves. There are four entrances located in Dragon Valley.
    • The entrance farthest to the north and the entrance farthest to the left are the spawn locations for the Single Drakes.
    • The twins spawn at the other two entrances that are located farther to the right of the others.

    Information:

    • The Drakes are not necessarily easy to solo but their spawn times are fairly well known so you rarely get to 1:1 them.
    • Drakes are usually camped so for a better chance of getting a drop you may want to have a friend there helping who will split the drops with you.

    This monster occasionally appears in Dragon Valley. When it appears, it is accompanied by 2 spartois that protect it. It also uses tornado and Supper Wind Shurken spells to beat you down.
    Dark Elder is considered a Boss. Below is some additional information:

    Spawn Times:

    • Dark Elder spawn every few hours in DV. I don't believe there is a set time for them to spawn.

    Spawn Locations:

    • There are two Dark Elders that will spawn in DV at two different locations.
    • Both Spawn Locations are around the two piles of Dragon Bones in DV. One is in the middle of DV near the North Drake Spawn area, and the other is near the bottom of DV.
    • View the Spawn Locations in DV.

    Information:

    • Dark Elder will yell when it spawns. If you are within 3 screens of him, you will hear him spawn. The Dark Elder will spawn with 2 Spartoi to help him out. The dangerous part of the Dark Elder is his Supper Wind Shurken spell and his Tornado Spell.
    • These spells combined with any other monsters that are hitting you will do extreme damage. He will cast the Supper Wind Shurken if you are a distance away from him, otherwise he will use the Tornado Spell.
    • This is a mini Boss but he is not to be taken lightly. It is recommended to have ROA (ring of air) and High MR. Mid or higher level players should be able to kill the Dark Elder alone. It is advised to take him as a group for the amount of damaged he can dish out in a short time and if possible I recommend having I2H cast on you. You will need to have Clears or possible A-clears if you are being hit by other monsters.
