Main Land Caves 6F  (MLC6F)
Area Description
The Main Land Caves (MLC) contain 7 floors of monsters. The difficulty of the levels increases as you get lower into the caves.  There are a few bosses that spawn within these caves.

The Main Land Caves (MLC) are located East of Gludio, Northwest of Windawood, and south of the Small Waste Land (SWL).

Directions from Gludio:
Follow the road east of Gludio until you come to a split in the road.  Follow the road north until you get to the ruins area.

Directions from Windawood:
Follow the road Northwest of Windawood until you come to a split in the road.  Follow the road north until you get to the ruins area.

The ruins indicate the entrance to the cave.  There is one "cell" in the middle of the ruins that you need to walk onto to enter the caves.

    The Death Knight may spawn on this level so be on your guard. Also be on the lookout for the Necromenacer as he will spawn ghouls and floating eyes to help defend himself.

    Slimes are slushy creatures that spend their lives sliding around Aden and absorbing dropped items into their bodies. Often drops items which it ate. You have 40 seconds to kill it before it digests the items.

    Zombies are considered undead monsters. The product of evil experimentation, zombies are reanimated corpses with no will-power of their own. Infuriated, zombies attack all living beings. They are vulnerable to sunlight, however, and shun it completely.

    Crawling Claws are created by cutting off the hand of one who has acquired wealth and power through unfair means, then reanimating the hand through magic. The claw continues to desire acquiring wealth and will form groups to attack that it desires. Crawling claws can do some damage even to strong players if in large numbers.

    Ghouls are born when an evil spirit enters a body lying peacefully underground in a grave. Ghouls will attack with poisonous fingernails and may freeze their attackers for a short time. The Ghoul is the only undead monster that is not affected by Silver.

    Spartoi are considered undead monsters. The Spartoi are known as Children of the Dragon Teeth nad are born from one of the many dragon teeth scattered throughout Aden. Similar to skeletons, yet stronger, they will sometimes disappear for several minutes, often blocking dungeon hallways.

    Necromancers can be found deep in the Gludin dungeon. He is occompanied by floating eyes and ghouls.

    It is a good idea to have a +5 shield of reflection to prevent the eyes from freezing you, and cyan potions or preferably twigs of ent to cure the ghoul poisoning, before you even attemp necromancer. Try to use a narrow pathway or a doorway so you can take the group one by one as they come through.

    His spawn rate is somewhat random, although it is usually around the 6th floor.

    Covered with the cursed blood of slain dragons, Death Knights know only the madness of killing. Calling upon Spartoi and powers of magic, Death Knights are formidable foes.

    They spawn anywhere on the 5-7th floors of MLC and their spawn time is random. As for the frequency of its spawn times, it is usually at least once or twice a day.
    Death Knight is considered a Boss. Below is some additional information:

    Spawn Times:

    • There is not a set time that the Death Knight will spawn. It isn't really common though. Maybe a few times in a real life day.

    Spawn Locations:

    • The Death Knight spawns on floors 5, 6, or 7 of the Main Land Caves. Which floor he spawns on is completely random.

    Information:

    • Take about 100 clears each with you to fight the Death Knight. When the Death Knight spawns, he will summon 6-10 spartoi every few minutes and thus if noone has found him, there could be a hundred sparoi around him. The best way to hunt him is to use a COI. The Death Knight will see the COI, while the spartoi won't. This allows you to lure the Death Knight away from all the spartoi.
    • It takes about 3-4 level 45+ knights with a +6 or better Mail Breaker to kill him in 1 to 2 minutes. Using Strength and Dexterity spells should help a lot. The best way to find him is to hunt Main Land Caves 5-7F with a elf or mage and random teleport every few seconds.
    • The Death Knights drops are always decent, usually consisting of at least 30K adena, some belts, n/bdais, n/bzels, and other very rare items including items for the Death Knight Set.
