Gludio Death Match 
Area Description
Arena Deathmatch

The monster spawn will be controlled by the arena, and could increase in difficulty as time passes. There is a level 25-45 limit for characters to participate and monsters will be appropriate for this level.

Admission fee is 1,000 adena.

Players will be able to purchase an entry ticket up to 5 minutes before the session starts. Players will be teleported outside of the arena 5 minutes after the last monster has spawned. Player self-teleportation will NOT be disabled during this, so do not leave the arena unless necessary as you will be unable to return.

Four times per day, the arena will be ready. The times are tentatively set to be 4am, 9am, 4pm and 10pm Central US time. This will allow for an evening event in both the US and Europe.

Spectator tickets will be sold to allow viewing the battles for 100 adena.

Resurrection is prohibited inside of the Arena. Potion usage is allowed inside of the Arena.

Hit point and mana points will not regenerate inside of the arena. Healing and mana potions are allowed. Mana potions used in the arena will cause mana to be regenerated at a normal rate instead of at the increased rate found outside the arena.

Players may NOT use summoned or tamed monsters inside of the Arena.

Player versus player combat is not allowed inside of the Arena.

Players will lose experience if killed by a monster when inside of the arena.

Players will gain experience and loot in the arena from the combating monsters.

Players can lose items upon death in the Arena.

    The Ifrit brandishes a spear of flame and floats just out of reach atop a column of heated air. Swirling in fire, this relative of legendary genies is unlikely to grant your wish - unless perhaps you wish for death.

    The Ifrit spawns at random times and locations within the northern part of Fire Valley. Multiple Ifrits can be out at a time.
    Ifrit is considered a Boss. Below is some additional information:

    Spawn Times:

    • Ifrits spawn a lot more frequently than a Phoenix and sometimes multiple will spawn at a time.

    Spawn Locations:

    • The Ifrit will spawn anywhere in the upper and middle areas of Fire Valley. There is no specific spot that he spawns...it is purely random.

    • The Ifrit is a tough monster and you will want to hunt him without other monsters attacking you. This will make it much easier. His distance attack hurts the worst so get close to him as soon as you can.

    Drakes are powerful creatures capable of killing an inexperienced player. Drakes fly around the Dragon Valley area. Its fire-breathing attack can do 100+ damage.

    There are a total of 4 drakes that spawn in a day/night time period. In one complete lineage day, there would be 8 drakes total. There are two solo drakes and then there are the twins. All the drakes will spawn near entrances to the Dragon Valley Caves. The two solo drakes will spawn anytime within the first hour of daylight or sunset. The twins will spawn any time during the day and any time during the night. The process starts over it becomes daytime and nighttime.
    Drake is considered a Boss. Below is some additional information:

    Spawn Times:

    • Single Drakes: Anytime from the beginning of the nighttime to the middle of the night or the beginning of the daytime to the middle of the day. The drake may spawn anytime within this time period (1 hour in real life).
    • Twin Drakes: Anytime during a day or night period.

    Spawn Locations:

    • The Drakes all spawn at entrances to the Dragon Valley Caves. There are four entrances located in Dragon Valley.
    • The entrance farthest to the north and the entrance farthest to the left are the spawn locations for the Single Drakes.
    • The twins spawn at the other two entrances that are located farther to the right of the others.

    Information:

    • The Drakes are not necessarily easy to solo but their spawn times are fairly well known so you rarely get to 1:1 them.
    • Drakes are usually camped so for a better chance of getting a drop you may want to have a friend there helping who will split the drops with you.
