There are two parts to this quest, making the bow , and making the arrows.
The bow:
There are 4 "spirits of the wind" that spawn near the dragon lairs around aden. Each of these is on a specific spawn cycle (3-4 hours roughly). Their locations are as follows:
Wind - Boreas spawns in and around the scar of lindvior in Aden, was found underneath the word "Scar" twice recently.
Fire - Notus spawns in Fire Valley Beach (all 6 spots found on the left << side of beach area.) 1. north of 2 trees, 2. northern part of beach,at top. 3. west side middle of beach. 4. west side middle near edge of clif. 5. west side of beach,then walk up to a small spot w/2 lava pools. 6. west side of fire valley clifs,nextlevel above #5 location.
earth- spawns on dvc 6f (around to the left of the stairs to f/7)
water- spawns on heine 4f (out side of lair, near shipwreck to the right >>)
you'll want either alot of MR or alot of elemental mr to match the element of the current spirit you are going to kill in order to defeat them.
each drops a scroll, which must be handed in along with a crossbow to Glendurial in the elven forest in order to obtain your sayha's xbow.
The arrows:
as you know, there are a set of arrows for each element. They are crafted in the ivory tower, 2f, at the npc north of the stairs. the items needed are as follows:
each "quiver" requires 500 arrows, one "element" and 10 elemental stones.
the elements are:
paagrio's ash
sayha's plume
stone of maphr
gift of eva
the quivers contain 500 of each arrow, and the quivers have a weight of 0. you must double click the quivers in order to get the arrows.
the arrows are 7/8 damage. the exact elemental damage is not specific, but you will notice a difference in kill time by using the correct elemental arrow. the spell "reveal weakness" is a good way to determine what mops are weak to what element. |
