NOTE: These instructions are incomplete and possibly inaccurate. I (Wae) have not actually done the quest yet.
Find the Pseudo Shadow of Flame NPC standing in the 6th floor of the Mainland Caves dungeon. He will give you the option of obtaining a Staff of Baphomet, Staff of Beleth, or Staff of Demon. To obtain the staves, you need the staff's component and a Dark Crystal of Soul.
To obtain the Dark Crystal of Soul, buy the Scroll of Life (Tribe) from the Fettered Soul NPC standing right next to him. It costs 100,000 adena.
To use the scroll, you must be at least level 48 and once you use it, you will die and lose experience. However, once the scroll is used, it will be replaced with a Dark Crystal of Soul.
When you have the staff's components (this part of the walkthrough is missing and has not been done yet and will be filled in later) and the crystal, go back to the NPC and receive your staff. I would think the components will drop from the bosses they are named after. |
